The Shasta Lake Chamber of Commerce is the host of the very popular Friday Night in the Park concert series held in the City of Shasta Lake. This year will be our 20th consecutive year promoting this event and we expect people from all over Shasta County to come and enjoy these free community concerts. The Band for August 30th is 'SERENA KARESE".
This summer we will be expanding from 10 nights to 12 Friday nights beginning on June 14, 2024 and running through August 30, 2024. Because of the recent heat wave with extreme temperatures reaching over 110 degrees, two nights in July were cancelled. The Chamber is adjusting the schedule and extending the concerts into September this year. The dates are Thursday, September 5th and Thursday, September 12th. The new dates will be on Thursday nights to avoid conflicting with CVHS Football games.
The event is held at Clair Engle Park, right off Shasta Dam Boulevard with activities that include local artists’ booths, food and beverage trucks, and information tables from service providers. The music provided is family oriented and there is a relaxed atmosphere. This event is a place for the entire community together as neighbors and new friends to visit and enjoy an evening in the park.
Due to the construction on Shasta Dam Boulevard, the Chamber has collaborated with RABA to provide FREE bus/shuttle service from Margaret Polf Park (soccer fields off Shasta Dam Blvd) and the Civic Center Campus on Main Street. Park your car and catch the ride in air conditioned comfort to FRIDAY NIGHT IN THE PARK !
